Marta
My name is Marta, I’m a travel nurse from Toronto, Canada. I wanted to start a blog with the intention of documenting all of my adventures after my 13 week assignments. After being a nurse for 7 years and working through a global pandemic, I realized I didn’t want to continue to work myself into the ground for a few days off a year. My goal is to make as many cherished memories and go on as many adventures as I can. Now because of travel nursing I live and plan my life around the trips I want to go on! And with the best bonus, my husband comes along with me!
I’ve taken assignments in Massachusetts, Colorado and Maryland and am on assignment number five!
From walking medieval cities to munching on local foods, I’m here to document it all and give you the ideas to go on your own adventures after 13 weeks!
Logan
Hi! I’m Logan. I’m a Canadian Travel nurse living in the Big Apple, New York City. My good friend Marta and I started this blog to provide insight, guidance and a safe space to discuss all things travel nursing. I have been working as a Nurse in the US since March 2022, and have learnt a lot along the way. I want to help you navigate the hurdles of travel nursing as a Canadian, from the initial application process to the first day of your contract. During my time off between assignments, I love to travel the world and explore new cities.
After 13 weeks is dedicated to working a job you’re passionate about all while enjoying well-deserved time off and finding new adventures.
I’m excited for you to follow along my travel nurse journey, and to help you with yours- whether you are a new or seasoned traveller.
